I provided a total design solution for this project from the basic brief that the customer required a product that looked world class performed at the high quality end of the market, versatile and easily adapted to suit specialist tasks. I evolved a design philosophy and engineering methodology that is now used across the range of Sumi products and now includes 12 models of forklift trucks. I was responsible for all aspects of this project from writing the design brief, designing the trucks, detailing and engineering, quality control, through to photography and creation of sales material.
